Interactive Storytelling
As a way to keep exploring the boundaries of interactivity, I was Design Director for a number of interactive storytelling/transmedia projects. This is a sample of the projects that I and my team developed over a number of years.

FutureStates was a series of fictional mini-features exploring possible future scenarios through the lens of today's global realities. For the final version of the series, ITVS produced and funded an immersive, online version. I led the design of the overall UX, which created an overarching storyline and connected all of the independent narratives. FutureStates had its world premiere at The New York Film Festival.

What You Really Want was a participatory music video for the indie band Jets Overhead. In addition to users adding to the video, each time it was viewed, the sequencing of it changed. I directed the video and designed the user experience. Rolling Stone magazine described it as “a gorgeous Big Apple love story.”

Immigrant Nation was an interactive storytelling project designed to collect a vast range of unique immigrant narratives and experiences and share them online. It was funded by the Tribeca Film Institute.
